Vital Statistics

We are now accepting all major credit cards for payment on all Birth and Death Certificates. Credit Card information will be accepted by phone orders ONLY.

The Erie County Health Department has records of births and deaths that have occurred in Erie County dating from December, 1908 to the Present.

These copies can be obtained by either coming into the office Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM excluding holidays. Our office is located at 420 Superior Street, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.

All Birth and Death records are $20.00 per copy.
