Erie County Task Force on Minority Health
Vision:
The Erie County Task Force on Minority Health aspires to create togetherness and promote good health traditions one family at a time.
Established in 2007, the mission of the Task Force is to address health disparities in the minority population by monitoring health indicators, facilitating the acquisition of needed services and programs and promoting healthy behaviors through education and participation.
Recent Accomplishments of the Task Force
- Hosted a speaker on Sickle Cell from the Cordelia Martin Health Center
- Recognized Clifton Frisby as a community “hero” and minority health advocate
- Provided support for agencies receiving funding for outreach and education activities through the Ohio Commission on Minority Health
- Sickle Cell

- Obesity
- Infant Mortality
The Task Force meets the third Wednesday of every month.
