PPEC Vision:

To decrease the short-term and long-term negative effects of substance use in families and communities within Erie County.

PPEC Mission:

To reduce the number of Erie County youth and adults who are involved in substance abuse and other high risk activities through community collaboration, education, and systems changes.

About PPEC:

The Partners for Prevention of Erie County is an active coalition dedicated to reducing youth and adult substance use in the community. It is comprised of members from many local agencies, organizations, schools, and residents of Erie County. Some of these members include law enforcement, mental health and recovery services, healthcare, youth-serving organizations, religious and fraternal groups, parents, and youth.

The Partners for Prevention of Erie County develops and implements strategies for reducing youth and adult substance use through the Strategic Prevention Framework adopted by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
