Tattoo & Body Piercing Program
The increased popularity of tattoo and body piercing over the last decade has led to the creation of a statewide license and inspection program. The Environmental Health Division works to ensure the prevention of personal injury and potential spread of disease. This is done through consultation and inspection with tattoo artists and piercing specialists. Working collaboratively with this industry's professionals, our sanitarians continue to be successful in reducing the risk for customer disease and injury.
For information on opening an establishment or for any questions regarding the program, please contact Matt Heyduk at firstname.lastname@example.org.
